| Hunter Hill has been one of my favorite wineries since I discovered wine. The winery is located on a beautiful vine-covered hillside. The tasting room is large and could easily entertain 30 people. They even have an outdoor tasting area which is always full during the Passport weekends. The wines are great too (the 2005 cab sauv is incredible - I'll review it too). The staff is friendly and polite. They'll talk wine with you and they're not shy with their pours. Oh, and the folks here make the best tri-tip I have ever had (and probabaly ever will have) - I asked for the recipe, but was rejected (family secret). All-in-all, Hunter Hill is a great place to visit if you're looking for a great example of Santa Cruz wineries at their finest. Visited 11/17/07. | ||

| I really like visiting Hunter Hill. The staff is so friendly and the wines are terrific. The tasting room is large and there is plenty of room to taste the wines. The view of the vineyard is tantalizing. During Passport or other wine events Hunter Hill always has the best appetizers. This place is definitely worth a visit. It is on the same road as a number of other wineries, so you can turn a visit here into a full wine tasting trip. | ||

| I really like Santa Cruz wineries. It's unfortunate that they don't get as much recognition as the wineries from Napa or Sonoma. But many of them should. Hunter Hill is definetly one of them. Apart from their fantastic wines, Hunter Hill's tasting room is nestled among a hillside vineyard. It is a large tasting room. Hunter Hill is a bit hard to find along a somewhat winding road, but during Passport Weekend, it is absolutely packed. Definitely visit if you are in the area. Visited June 2005. | ||
