Intense inky color with violet hues. Plum, ripe cherry, and floral on the nose with dry fruit and mint hints. Great concentration and complexity with sweet, voluminous tannins and a lasting finish.

A malbec in the super-ripe, oak influenced style. On the nose you first sense the sweet vanilla oakiness. Lots of dark fruit, boisenberry, blackcurrant, and some mint. Smooth creamy mouthcoat with some velvet. Gripping tannins and a long sweet vanilla finish. A solid 91 points on my book. www.ikal1150.com Tasted 10/01/2008.
